COVD-19 (Deposit Credits)

Post covid deposits policy:
As per original T&Cs deposits were/are non refundable, our booking terms also highlight that responsibility lies with guests to ensure they have adequate travel insurance coverage at the time of booking.
For two years, Mataraz Villas (with no bookings) has remained open paying and supporting our staff and their families. We like many other business, almost fell victim to complete closure due to COVID ceasing all opportunity for us, however we did all we can to keep our staff employed and carry on. We, like our sister villas have gone above and beyond and given the benefit of the doubt that clients haven’t already claimed travel insurance on deposits paid to us and held deposits in full credit for guests to rebook when travel resumed, doing so since 2021.
Any outstanding deposit credits can still be used without any fees charged to rebook , this offer expires 31/12/2022. Our nightly rate has also remain un changed with no increases.

**OLD 2020 UPDATE BELOW**
As a result of the coronavirus outbreak, the Australian Government has increased the travel advice for all Australians to Level 4 – Do Not Travel Overseas. You can find more information on the Smartraveller website. We understand these restrictions may affect our guests' travel plans and we are working non-stop on how we can best support them.
What are my options?
To alleviate stress, we’re providing flexibility on new and existing bookings for travel between 15th March and 31st December 2020. We are offering to reschedule the booking with no cancellation/rebooking fee or the option to cancel and receive a credit voucher valid for 24 months from the date of issue.
How to request a change or cancellation?
For guests travelling before 31st Dec 2020. Please email us at villamataraz@gmail.com or head to the contact us page and submit a request.
For guests travelling outside these dates,We understand customers may be feeling hesitant to travel during this time. Please note, that if you no longer wish to travel, normal cancellation policy and fees would apply.
